A little bottle of science (not magic)
Whilst competitors focus on lifestyle, we were the only brand that had a science claim that passed new EU laws, so to cement this idea of being the 'science' one we created a campaign that sent up bull**** wellness messages in a humorous way.
And no, there really is no such thing as a mystical Yakult tree.
I know, it's disappointing.
Idents
One of the things Yakult wanted to make viewers aware of was its Japanese roots. So when idents were booked on channel 4 we used the medium to its advantage, using the repetitive structure to teach viewers Japanese phrases, a little each day.
